Installation on Offshore Multilateral Oilwell:
Hydrocarb Trinidad Limited, being the distributor and installation agents for an international line of Progressive Cavity Pumps (PCP) and Driveheads were awarded the opportunity for supply of complete PCP systems for the first multilateral well drilled offshore by the State Oil Company of Trinidad & Tobago.
2500 barrels daily:
Seating depth of pump averaged 4500 ft with a required production output of 2,500 barrels of oil per day. Installation and commissioning was successful, meeting required pressure and flow tests. Hydrocarb thereafter continued to supply, install and commission PCPs, both offshore and on land, for depths ranging from two hundred up to six thousand feet, with sustainable well pressures as low as 50 psi up to 2800 psi, and production requirements from 3 bopd to 600 bopd. Hydrocarb also offers PCP Bench Testing facilities for the verification of produced and newly manufactured pumps.
